With more than 30 years of experience in IP, Jose has worked in all areas of IP. However, in the last 10 years he has dedicated himself mainly to the area of Patents and Translations. In 2019, he considered he needed a new challenge in order to spice up his professional life and brought all of his experience when he became one of the founders of Fast Filing.

José discovered the IP practice in 1992. After having worked for 26 years in a conventional IP firm in Lisbon, he realised he could improve the way procedures are handled whilst costs are reduced and became one of the founding partners of Fast Filing. He is a MARQUES member and part of the Education Team. He is a representative before the Steering Committee of EUIPO's Trade Mark and Design Education Programme.
